They stated that “although CertAsig couldn’t have a party last year due to the uncertain political environment; CertAsig was always here and was always open for business. CertAsig works exclusively with brokers in Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria and our new office in Czech Republic. We like working with the brokers as we have sophisticated products. Intentionally we do not have agents or direct sales channels competing against you, our brokers.  Please remember when you have a claim or one of your clients has a claim in fact the majority that claim is paid by the reinsurers. Our core reinsurers include Hannover Re, Swiss Re, Partner Re and Lloyd’s Syndicates, so we have very strong reinsurers behind us. On P&I side, we have about 20 vessels’ in force now. However, we decided to run off these remaining P&I risks. We found an excellent partner Carina Underwriting Agency. The idea is that we do not want to leave clients without protection at renewal. The main driver for CertAsig will be Marine Hull and Marine Cargo. We started marine underwriting of Turkish Marine business in 2008 and we intend to continue to grow the portfolio. We are delighted to be back here at the wonderful Four Seasons Hotel and thank you very much for your support. We will continue to support you as our Marine Team; Andrei, Nadya, Rares and Ramona. Thank you very much for being here”.
