Welcome to Techsylvania!

For a few days in June (17-20), Cluj Napoca was alive and buzzing with the spirit of future and technology: IT talents, investors, business people and technology experts got together for Techsylvania: the leading technology event in Eastern Europe.IMG-20170610-WA0018

Over the 4 days of the event, 1500 participants – tech enthusiasts and business people – had the chance to connect, hack and share ideas. Creative minds, technologists and innovators from all around the world attended Techsylvania to infuse and disperse inspiration, ideas and knowledge.

Already at its fourth annual edition, Techsylvania was a great opportunity for attendants to gain an insight into how the future might be transformed by technology, to learn from successful entrepreneurs, to meet investors or to scout the hottest startups and industry trends. The event held a two-day conference, a Hackathon which challenged the best IT minds in the region, as well as a StartUp competition.

CertAsig, which is a market innovator with its insurance products for IT & technology companies, was a partner in the event. We were energised by the idea to sponsor the Official Dinner which opened the conference on June 19th and was hosted by the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce, our longtime supporter and partner. The dinner took place at the Museum of Art. IMG-20170610-WA0014
